A Mission For Education: Empowering 5 Million Children by 2025
BYJU’S launched ‘Education for All’ a Social Initiative that aims to enable and empower 5 Million children from the underserved, geographically remote, and economically weaker sections by 2025.
Launching the social initiative, Byju Raveendran, Founder & CEO, BYJU’S, said, “This is a really special moment for all of us at BYJU’S. This is BYJU’s attempt at “giving back” and bringing about a positive change in education in India.
Bridging the Digital Divide
India is a country of great diversity but also great access inequality; specifically access to quality education. This initiative will make quality learning accessible to the children in need. It is noteworthy that BYJU’S made its learning content free for school students during the lockdown period and over 20 million new students started learning from its platform for free. Today, 64 million students are learning on the platform.

To begin with, BYJU’S has signed MOUs with partners who share the same vision and mission — The American India Foundation (AIF), Magic Bus, Save the Children, United Way, and Vadham Tea.
